Bordoh Auto Tech ("we", "us", "our") provides mobile auto electrical services across the Perth metropolitan area. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect through bordohautotech.com, why, and your choices.

What we collect

When you submit a booking enquiry we collect only what we need to respond and attend the job:

• Contact details — your name, phone number and (optionally) email address.
• Job details — your address/suburb, vehicle details and a description of the problem.
• Location data (GPS) — only if you tap "Use my location". Your device asks for permission first; we never capture your location silently. The coordinates are used solely so our technician can find the exact spot for your callout.

We do not collect payment card details or passwords through this website, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, schedule and carry out your booking, provide quotes and GST invoices, and contact you about your job. We may keep limited records to meet tax, warranty and legal obligations.

How it's stored and secured

Enquiries are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in our booking system (Bordoh OS). Access is restricted to authorised people who need it to serve you. We retain your information only for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and bookings:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and privacy-friendly (cookieless) visitor analytics.
• Bordoh OS — our booking and customer records platform.
• Email/SMS providers — to send you booking confirmations and updates.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

SMS and email

If you ask us to text you, you can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link provided or by contacting us.

Accessing or deleting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call 0433 422 376 and we'll action your request. If you have a privacy concern you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
